It seems to be possible to export Cron-o-meter, COM , recipes as XML files, and to reimport them. I had thoughts about creating a COM version of as many as possible of the recipes which are collecting at RDAmethod, so that people could log in and download the exported file.
It would give some idea of the calories, Omega-3 and Omega-6 balance, minerals and vitamins in a particular recipe; it wouldn't remove the need to weigh the raw food items. If you think that having these recipes in COM format would be useful, would you please add a comment to this post ?

Recipes in CoM
It certainly would be useful for adaptation but personally the weights of the foods I prepare for myself are purely random and therefore "odd". Other posters might be much more rigorous and more precise in their approach. The CoM XML is pretty simple, but I would suggest you have an upload facility on this site if possible - then we can just upload the file, you validate it against a dtd or schema (to make sure we're not uploading something else!), and then provide a download facility as well - creating a shared library rather than one increasing file (I might be misreading your post on this one).
I'd thought of setting up a site doing much the same thing so definitely go for it! :-)
